The three hour tour leaves every morning between 8 and 9 am and afternoon between 1 and 2 pm.

You will be picked up in your hotel in Taipei City before we leave our 3 hours journey through the city. There are multiple stops but can vary upon schedule.

First we will pass by the Presidential Office Building. This beautiful building houses the office of the president and was build during the period of the Japanese in Taiwan. After the bombing during World War II it has undergone a reconstruction.

chiang kai shekOur second stop will be made at the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall. This large building was built in memory of the former president of the ROC, Mr. Chiang Kai-shek. Each hour there will be a changing of the guards. It is located southwest of the city Taipei. The area contains over 25 acres of landscaped gardens, beautiful pavilions and large ponds with colored carp in it. Besides the Memorial Hall, there is a concert and theater building that is known for its artists and their performances.

alt=”martyrs shrine” width=”200″ height=”150″ />As third we go to Martyr's Shrine (War Memorial). It was built in 1969 because of the more then 300000 men who have sacrificed their lives to the revolution and who fell during the Sino-Japanese War and the Chinese civil war are worshiped. And also at this site there is an hourly changing of the guards, starting at 9 am till the end of the afternoon.

national palace museumThe tour continues to the National Palace Museum, which is the world's largest and most valuable collections of Chinese art treasures for about 5000 years of history. The collection is too large to be displayed at once! While many popular pieces remain on permanent display, other pieces are frequently changed.

As fift we go to a traditional Taiwanese temple. last but not least we visit a Chinese Handicraft Center. The craft center is a place in Taipei for shopping of souvenirs, jewelry, art, furniture, Buddha and many other Taiwanese craftsmanship.

      I replied to your email but I get an email back with: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender.

      Half day tours and full day Taroko Gorge remain the same. Multiple day tours cost a bit more because of the single room. All of our tours are on SIC basis what means other people will join too.
